Knowledge does not exist in isolation - it is a conversation across a community over time.
Workshops on structuring knowledge are run each year by the Underlay Project & the Knowledge Futures Group. Join us to explore ways to structure & produce collective knowledge, and experiment with your own approaches. The latest workshop was held January 25-29, 2021. If you are interested in participating in future events, please get in touch.
What to expect: an introductory day reviewing common models, followed by four days of experimental design of a knowledge collaborative. Participants learn about collectives and global references dedicated to text, data, media, code, and potential, and develop a roadmap for approaching and synthesizing something they care about.
